Join us at the 19th annual Literacy Matters Luncheon celebrating the life-changing power of literacy and the incredible learners and tutors who make it possible!
Benefitting the adult literacy and distance learning programs of The Literacy Council, your presence helps open doors — to education, opportunity, and brighter futures for families across our community.

Featuring Jessica Muroff
Jessica Muroff will soon begin her tenure as the third President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. A seasoned nonprofit leader, this marks the fourth organization she has led as CEO, delivering transformative results at every stop. Florida Trend has recognized her as one of the state’s 500 most influential leaders for three consecutive years. Most recently, Muroff spent six years leading United Way Suncoast, one of Florida’s largest local United Ways, serving a five-county region.
