Wendy Rose serves as spokesperson and Media Relations Manager for the Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS), a Tampa-based national nonprofit organization helping to reduce the social and economic effects of natural disasters. In collaboration with local and national media, she promotes ways in which to make homes and businesses stronger. Ms. Rose’s professional expertise in TV news production and programming management and her passion for helping individuals, businesses, and communities brings added value to the Literacy Council of Sarasota Board. Rose has a B.S. in Mass Communication from the University of South Florida.
